Steel production is estimated to account for 7 - 8% of the world’s carbon emissions. Recognized as a key “hard to abate” industry, the world is looking to both the steel plants and the global steel value chain for rapid and innovative leadership in the transformation to a decarbonized industry.
The Instituto Argentino de Siderurgia is proud to announce the Decarbonization and Green Steel Seminar, being held virtually on 16th and 18th May 2023 from 10am until 3pm. The Seminar will include simultaneous translation English-Spanish.
The Seminar will define the green steel challenge, discuss the decisions that need to be made across the sector and examine available solutions that currently exist. It will focus on practical takeaways that can be applied to strategic decision-making and operational roadmaps to achieve net zero.
The Seminar unites both manufacturers and suppliers in an open and focused forum. It is the ideal platform to profile your expertise, network with industry peers, and share your knowledge with the international steel community.
